The recent attack in Pulwama shook the whole nation up. Any amount of 2-minute silences that we hold for the deceased will not make up for the fact that someone so deeply loved is gone, and their family will never be the same again.

In the wake of this deadly attack, the nation stands alongside them as their family. It is us who these soldiers died for. People are calling their wedding off and raising funds to support them. The government is making efforts to raise funds for them. The whole world is coming together in support.

A country’s greatness lies in its undying ideals of love and sacrifice that inspire the mothers of the race.

These families are our own now. Martyr’s children are the nation’s now. We may not be able to be there with them, but we can be there for them. It matters if we let go of that fancy meal we will have tomorrow. Now more than ever.

Why is a cloud telephony company talking about this?

Because it matters. We are doing something about it  –  and we want you to do it too.

We are easing the process for our employees to contribute to the families of the martyred CRPF jawans and encouraging them to do it. As expected, almost all of them are moving forward with it.

This blog is not about how much we raise, but the fact that you can do it too. If you’re reading this, please encourage your HR to facilitate something like this. You never know the scale of impact you could make collectively.

After all, united we stand.

Jai Hind.
